This project was awarded first place by the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of Pernambuco at the achitecture heritage student competition in 2021.
In the historic center of Recife, on Rua da União there are two distinct urban ruins: a neocolonial townhouse from the 19th century, recognized as a Special Preservation Property, and an unfinished modern building from the 1960s. These two properties have adjacent lots, a factor that led to an intervention project aimed at integrating these lots, preserving their respective architectural times, but creating a unit.
